Cow Brand is a leading retailer in Japan with a history of over 100 years since its founding in 1909 by Narajiro Miyazaki. The company started producing and selling high-quality beauty soap after a change of management in 1931. In addition, Cow Brand successfully expanded its business internationally, reaching various continents such as Asia, Australia, Europe, and America. Their success in exporting made Cow Brand famous overseas and made them a leader in the beauty soap industry.
The Problem
Previously, the Cow Style website had a design that looked old-fashioned and didn’t fit the modern look. In addition, there are several e-commerce features that don’t function properly, resulting in problems in the buying process and an unsatisfactory user experience.
The Goal
The aim of this project is to redesign the Cow Style Indonesia website with two main goals. First, we want to develop the website into an e-commerce platform that can facilitate product sales easily and efficiently. Second, we want to highlight Cow Style Indonesia’s company profile by applying nuances or concepts inspired by Japanese companies.
What We Did
The process begins with conducting in-depth interviews with clients to fully understand their needs. After obtaining a comprehensive understanding, the next step is to hold a brainstorming session to generate creative ideas. After that, we’ll develop a highly detailed (high-fidelity) and responsive design that adapts to a wide range of devices and screens. Our goal is to provide a consistent and enjoyable experience for users across all platforms. Once the design is complete, we will proceed with the review and testing phase to ensure that it meets the expected quality standards and meets user requirements.
The Result
After going through several discussions and adjustments based on client feedback, we managed to create a new website for Cow Style Indonesia that carries the feel of a Japanese company while also functioning as a company profile and e-commerce platform. In addition, we have also optimized the accessibility of this website so that it can be accessed properly through various devices, including desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones. Thus, users can enjoy a consistent and responsive experience without compromising display quality and functionality across multiple platforms.
